Harley Vintage Beehive Taillight Fender Orange County La 900 details visit

This item is a rare, original unrestored Harley Davidson beehive glass taillight, attached to a lower section hinged rear fender.
I have been told this is possibly from model year 1942-1946.
History on this item: I received this item approximately 35 y
ears ago when I purchased a chopped/custom 1941 80" ULH sidevalve Flathead Harley Davidson motorcycle. At the time I purchased that 1941 Harley Davidson, this lower hinged rear fender and glass taillight came with the purchase of that bike, but was not attached to the bike.
I believe the paint on the fender is also original. The taillight housing is near perfect shape, no dents, with the red glass lens all intact. The clear lens to illuminate the license plate has a hair line crack which has been adhered or glued together at some point in it's life. The taillight housing has rust on the surface, but much less on the inside. The lower hinged rear fender has rust but mostly on the inside. Both the taillight housing and fender could be easily restored. "Harley Davidson" is stamped on top of the taillight glass lens and the top of taillight housing. The lower hinged fender has some slight bends, but nothing that cannot be restored. Will provide more images upon request. $900. OBO
